Welcome

Seth Wolpin PhD
Thanks for visiting. My name is Seth Wolpin, I am an endurance athlete, an adventure guide, and a chocoholic. In between adventures, I work as a clinical assistant professor at the University of Washington in Seattle, conducting research on patient centered technologies.

I have always been drawn to adventures,  I was fortunate to climb Everest in 2011, followed by running across America in a little over 100 days.  You can read more about what I've done on my adventure resume and also on my blog or browse my picture gallery.

I'm happy to be working with S2 Mountaineering as an expedition leader on some great trips. With us, we have Dorjee Sherpa from the Khumbu Valley that leads up to the heights of Everest. Dorjee helped me get to the top of the world and I can't say enough good things about him.

Please see the table below for upcoming trips.  I hope you can join me on some of these, I promise we will have a great time. Many of our trips also include a health promotion component where we strive to create sustainable and culturally appropriate health interventions. Anyone can help in this endeavor. S2 Mountaineering can even arrange custom trips, from budget to fully supported expeditions including Mustang, Tibet, and Bhutan.

Drop me a line if you have any questions and travel safe,

- Seth
